CHARITY CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP SCHOOL
Charity Missionary Baptist Church will hold its first Charity Christian Leadership School (CCLS) on May 19-20, 2025 from 6:15 pm - 8:45 pm nightly. The theme is ‘BUILDING KINGDOM LEADERS THROUGH THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL’. All classes will be virtual via Zoom.

The Charleston Jewish Filmfest, Charity Missionary Baptist Church, and KKBE proudly present a powerful Civil Rights story: Ain’t No Back to a Merry-Go-Round on Wednesday, May 21 , 2025, 7pm in the Banquet Hall. Join us for a screening of this award-winning documentary, recounting a pivotal 1960 protest of segregation at Glen Echo Amusement Park, led by an extraordinary coalition of Howard University students and Jewish residents of Bannockburn, MD. Talkback will feature Rabbi Stephanie Alexander and Rev. Nelson B. Rivers, III immediately
following. Light Refreshments will be served.

HILTON HEAD DAY TRIP
FREE Day Trip: Sunday, June 8, 2025, 12:30pm, Hilton Head Island with a stop in Beaufort at the awesome Harriet Tubman monument and on to Hilton Head to St. James Baptist Church where Pastor Rivers will preach at 4pm for the First Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Arthur Evans. The big bus is going!
